naivsuper is a loose connection between artists, musicians, composers and filmmakers - an old fashioned artist collective, a plattform, a record label and book publisher. naivsuper was founded in 2003 and has been growing slowly but steady eversince. The name comes from a norwegian book we discovered a long time ago written by Erlend Loe. The main character in the book is a person who is not afraid to try things. He is a genuinely good person going through his life and it´s Ups and Downs like we all do, only that he doesn´t have any prejudices towards people and situations. Some years ago Erlend Loe officially approved that we are using the name of his book - thank you very much. The people involved and around naivsuper mainly consider themselves as explorers in the field of the post-avantgarde (or whatever will be now and tomorrow) art, music and film scene. As a label and book publisher naivsuper releases work by young and talented artists, musicians and filmmakers. Every publication is handled with a lot of love for detail. We also try to make those releases affordable for everyone trying to find the right balance between quality and quantity, although quality will always be much more important to us.
